They also are blessed with a third earlid, also known as the haw . It serves to shield their eyes. A cat's pupil is elliptical to reduce the amount of light that gets into. In dim lighting, their pupils expand and then become nearly round. A cat's pupil can dilate 3 times more than the one of a human being.

Cats are able to have an average of 24 whiskers on their faces; these hairs are extremely thick and are three times deeper. Whiskers are very sensitive to detect the slightest change in air current. They also serve to assess whether a cat's body can be squeezed through a hole. Not only are the whiskers all over the face of a cat but also situated on the back of front legs. Whiskers will be replaced if they break off. The fur of cats contains a sensitive nerves that can sense the slightest movement. Also, their paws are sensitive to the touch.

Every cat-loving person would be keen to provide their cat with the most appealing name. If you look at a few of the most well-known cat names, you will find that the lists frequently have names that are similar. Yet, the esteem of the cat names varies from one nation to another.
